ECHO's international Agriculture Conference is a time to showcase our networks' projects and experiences. We invite our conference attendees to apply to become a speaker! Registration, travel, and lodging expenses are not covered by ECHO for workshop or breakout session speakers. There are four different avenues for you to present:
Afternoon workshop at the ECHO Global Farm. These workshops are 60-minutes long and are more "hands-on” than the talks at the hotel. Most are held outdoors where Delegates can see a particular crop or technology, using the farm as a "living classroom.” A few afternoon talks start indoors, using PowerPoint, and then transition to the farm; space for such talks is limited as there are only three rooms with LCD projectors. Afternoon Workshops are taught Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon.Sign Up to be a Workshop Leader
Evening discussions at the hotel. These sessions provide an opportunity for group interaction and participation. Topics are typically presentations of proven agricultural practices/techniques or development approaches that have been successful and could be of benefit to others who could implement a similar idea. Evening Breakout Sessions are presented on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. There are two options for the Evening Breakout Sessions:
Our 2019 International Agriculture Conference (EIAC) in Florida will feature a poster session. This will provide conference attendees with another way to share and exchange information. This is a great way for practitioners, researchers, and students to share about successful projects and/or applied research. If you plan to attend the conference in November 2019, please consider creating a poster for display at the hotel (Crowne Plaza) venue. Your poster can then be viewed by other conference delegates at their leisure, as well as during designated times for poster presenters and other conference attendees to interact. There will also be an opportunity, during a late-afternoon or evening session, to give a five-minute oral summary of your poster.
ECHO offers our delegates an opportunity to promote their organization or project throughout the week through exhibitor tables. These tables are six feet long and line the back of the auditorium at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This offer comes with an additional $100 charge. You can register for this option through the online registration.
