About Kathleen

Kathleen Earl Colverson has over 25 years of experience working with small and limited resource farmers and communities to implement sustainable practices, with an emphasis on small livestock production and value chain development. In addition, she has developed courses, workshops and seminars relating to community, gender, and participatory development. Most recently, she was recognized by the University of Florida’s Institute for Food and Agriculture Sciences with the International Fellow Award, which recognizes research excellence integrating gender into agricultural research.
